History:

One of our first dances, devised by Dave Seibert. Steps draw from Bampton Webley Twizzle.

Froggy (Fieldtown or Heddington?).

Distinctive Figure:

All face up ("face the music") on the hop, sidestep right, sidestep left, walk back two steps, then two plain capers up. Finish the chorus with half-rounds. Chorus does not repeat between verses, unless dancing simultaneously with the stick dance. Dance ends all in.
