HamletBack to Uptown dances History:Choreographed under the leadership of Dave and Kim Seibert, circa 1990, to the tune that is used for the song "Three Minute Hamlet." Tune:The Mason's Apron, with holds on the last two notes of the third phrase of the chorus Implements:Hankies Distinctive Figure:All face your corners. First corners cross with a forward-moving right sidestep, passing right shoulders, to just short of corner's place. Second corners cross next, and then middles ("third corners") cross third, forming an small, outward facing circle of dancers. On the second of the two held notes, all turn right and raise hankies in the center of the ring, then walk backward to place (middles walk in place). Chorus does not repeat between verses. Dance ends all in.
